PROUD stands for People Recognizing Our Unique Differences. The program is open to youth of all identities, backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Whether someone feels different, wants to embrace who they are, or simply wants to learn how to better support others, PROUD provides a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.
Through open discussions and engaging activities, participants explore topics that promote confidence, acceptance, empathy, and respect. Sessions focus on themes such as embracing differences, friendship, empathy, allyship, self-care, goal setting, and healthy boundaries. The program encourages youth to celebrate their individuality while learning how to create inclusive, supportive communities built on kindness, respect, and understanding.
