Position Posting – Project Outreach Coordinator

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County is a dynamic organization dedicated to helping children reach their full potential through positive and consistent, adult mentorship. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County serves children and youth throughout Lanark County, by providing 1 to 1, small group, and after school programing.
With funding support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and long standing support from Queer Connections Lanark, the agency has developed and is delivering mentoring programs that are specific to 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and programs that promote acceptance and inclusion as a whole. This work is built off of Reigniting Our Potential, a resource guide and tool-kit for youth, guardians, educators and social service providers. The available position is a full time Project Coordinator Role for a 33-week period. The successful candidate has the ability to work as a team member in a dynamic environment, can organize time and workload appropriately, and has expertise and/or lived experience with 2SLGBTQIA+ equity inclusion and advocacy.
