St. John Catholic elementary school has shown its support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County with a cheque for $165.
Principal Shawn Retty presented a cheque to Emily Grey, mentoring co-ordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Lanark County, during a school assembly on Friday, Oct. 19.
The school community held a fundraiser last spring to support Mood Disorders Canada and BBBS. The group runs programs twice a year for the benefit of students at the school.
