It is with sincere regret that we announce the passing of former Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County, Carole Ann Marriner. Carole was Executive Director with the agency for 16 years and has been a champion of our cause for decades. She believed in the work we do and worked tirelessly to build our agency to the resilient and supported community service that it is having even established a bursary fund for our littles in the name of her late husband entitled The Randy Marriner Memorial Bursary . We are forever grateful to her and her family for the gift they have given the children of Lanark County. Carole taught anyone she came to know the value of contribution and charity work. Fittingly, she is as giving in her passing as she was in her service to community and has asked that donations in her honour be made to our agency. Thank you, Carole, from the bottom of our hearts.
